Totally Restored

When I sold one of my WW2 BSA Airborne folding bicycle the buyer asked to part-exchange this restored Columbia U.S. Navy bike. I couldn’t resist. He’d spent a lot of money on it, and it’s in excellent working order.

However, I do already have a Columbia men’s bike (an unrestored example that’s not as nice as this), so I decided to put this U.S. Navy bike on the market.

It was restored some years ago, and there are a few scratches to the paintwork here and there. But overall it is in excellent condition.

If you enjoy taking the family to local shows in the summer, a rare vintage bicycle such as this the ideal candidate to provide free entry and a lot of interest from other enthusiasts.

Interest in vintage vehicles is a wonderful healthy hobby. And vintage bicycles are definitely at the affordable end of it. American classic bicycles are rare in this country (actually this model is rare in the USA too). So you always receive a lot of interest.

Getting youngsters to help with old vehicles is a great way to inspire them. You’ll soon have them doing up an old bicycle to ride themselves.
